2026 SUMMER LAW INTERN PROGRAM

Overview:
Our 2026 Summer Law Interns will gain meaningful exposure to immigration law through hands-on work with attorneys and staff. Interns will assist with case preparation, research, client interactions, and community outreach. This role is ideal for 1L or 2L students seeking practical experience in a mission-driven immigration practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct legal research and draft memos, declarations, and case summaries

  • Assist with preparing immigration applications and evidence packets

  • Sit in on client consultations and case strategy meetings

  • Observe hearings (when scheduled) and support court preparation

  • Participate in summer trainings and professional development sessions

Ideal Candidate:
Law student with strong writing skills, interest in immigration/ human rights/ civil rights law, and a commitment to client-centered advocacy. Bilingual abilities are a strong asset.

Location: This internship will be in-person in our Atlanta office.

Timeline: The interview process for Summer 2026 internships will begin as soon as  January 2026 , with offers expected to be extended up until May. Interns will officially be onboarded in  May, aligning with the start of the summer program.
