2026 SUMMER LAW INTERN PROGRAM
Overview:
Our 2026 Summer Law Interns will gain meaningful exposure to immigration law through hands-on work with attorneys and staff. Interns will assist with case preparation, research, client interactions, and community outreach. This role is ideal for 1L or 2L students seeking practical experience in a mission-driven immigration practice.
Key Responsibilities:

Conduct legal research and draft memos, declarations, and case summaries

Assist with preparing immigration applications and evidence packets

Sit in on client consultations and case strategy meetings

Observe hearings (when scheduled) and support court preparation

Participate in summer trainings and professional development sessions
Ideal Candidate:
Law student with strong writing skills, interest in immigration/ human rights/ civil rights law, and a commitment to client-centered advocacy. Bilingual abilities are a strong asset.
Location: This internship will be in-person in our Atlanta office.
Timeline: The interview process for Summer 2026 internships will begin as soon as January 2026 , with offers expected to be extended up until May. Interns will officially be onboarded in May, aligning with the start of the summer program.
