Deborah Salako

Practice Manager

With two decades in business-administrative consulting and 18 years as a immigration, criminal- and civil-law paralegal, Mrs. Salako brings a rare blend of operational savvy, legal depth, and human-centered leadership to The Danquah Law Group (DLG).  She studied Psychology and Music at SUNY New Paltz—training that anchors her intuitive, people-first approach—before completing advanced coursework at Mercy College. She has been a business owner for over twenty years and provides legal support services and consultation to individuals and businesses.

Since joining DLG, she has served as Practice Manager, streamlining case-flow, HR policy, and client-intake systems while simultaneously advising outside businesses on workflow redesign, compliance, and growth strategy.  Her commitment to client well-being is underscored by dual certifications: Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) and the University of North Carolina’s Trauma-Informed Practice program.  These credentials equip her to recognize trauma indicators, create supportive referral networks, and embed compassionate protocols into every stage of representation.

A global citizen who has lived on three continents, Mrs. Salako is articulate in cross-cultural communication — an asset for DLG’s diverse international clientele.  Whether orchestrating complex litigation logistics, mentoring staff, or guiding executives through operational transformations, she pairs integrity with innovation to deliver legal support services that are as efficient as they are empathetic.
